Salary: £500 - £750 a day, depending on experience. Reasonable expenses will also be covered.

Contract: Part time. Expected commitment of 25 days a year.

Location: Flexible. Board meetings will usually be held in London.

Friends of the Earth Charitable Trust is seeking to appoint a Trust Director who can assist the Board of Trustees in reporting, administration and governance matters. The Director will report to the CEO of Friends of the Earth Charitable Trust, in conjunction with the Chair of the Board of Trustees.

Friends of the Earth Charitable Trust is a fundraising and grant-awarding charity, which provides grants to several organisations. As Trust Director you’ll advise on the processes involved with a charitable trust while acting as the first point of contact, managing the annual schedule for Board of Trustee meetings and ensuring timely returns and responses to a variety of relevant regulatory bodies. You will also be responsible for coordinating overall business planning, budgeting and monthly accounts for the Charitable Trust.
