Barnet Friends of the Earth is a local group belonging to Friends of the Earth England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We’re a collection of environmentally-conscious volunteers who live in or near to the London borough of Barnet. We come together to discuss and campaign on local, regional and national issues relating to climate change and the environment. Scroll down to the very bottom of this page to get in touch with us.
Our campaigns
We take an interest in Friends of the Earth national campaigns as well as environmental issues relating to London and Barnet. Our focus varies, for example, reducing single-use plastics, air pollution, climate change, waste and influencing local politics. Our activities include holding public meetings, running stalls, and lobbying MPs. We want to make a difference.
Get involved
It can be great to connect with like-minded people, so if you’d like to try out our group please get in touch to find out about our next meeting. We generally meet at 7.45 pm on the first Thursday of the month in a pub in North Finchley or East Barnet. Or if you want to just join our email mailing list to get updates, please let us know!
