About the Chester & District Friends of the Earth Team

Our group is friendly and welcoming for people of all ages, interests and backgrounds. We aim to support a variety of local and national campaigns and encourage links with other like-minded groups.

We are working with other groups on 3 main campaigns –

·   On Plastics with #StrawFreeChester; #PlasticFreeChester & #ZeroWasteChester

·   With Frack Free Dee, due to the threat posed by Fracking in our area of Cheshire, the Wirral and Flintshire.

·   Protecting our Bees – #BeeCause – working alongside Chester Zoo as part of its Wildlife Campaign -  Wildlife_Connections

When and Where

We meet on the third Wednesday of every month upstairs at the Custom House, Watergate Street, Chester, CH1 2LB.

Anyone interested in getting involved is warmly invited to come along or get in touch via this site.
