On November 17 2013 Sunday’s ‘Bee Tea’ event was organised by Alex Payne at her Grandmother Sylvia Smith’s home in Summercourt Square, Kingswinford. Alex explained to more than 20 people how bees are vital for pollinating flowers, plants and crops and how their disappearance would have a devastating impact on food production. Afterwards, they enjoyed a mouth-watering selection of cakes and pies which either had a bee-design on the top or fillings using fruit that depend on bees for pollination. Guests signed postcards in support of the bee campaign and to ask Lord de Mauley to help save bees. Use the link below and go online and sign your postcard and help the bees.
