Manchester Friends of the Earth

Manchester Friends of the Earth is an award-winning environmental group, creatively campaigning on local, national and international issues. We are fuelled by volunteer energy and funded by membership subscriptions and donations. We campaign on a wide range of environmental and social issues. We meet throughout the year to plan and take part in campaigns, raise awareness at public events, and have fun and socialise. We are actively campaigning on:

• Transport - including public transport, walking and cycling
• Air Quality
• Nature - including trees, bees and biodiversity
• Waste and Resources - including plastics and recycling
• Climate and Energy- including fracking renewables and , local, national and international policies and targets
• Politics and Government - including MP and Councillor lobbying and influencing planning decisions
