We have combined with six other Friends of the Earth local groups plus the UK Youth Climate Coalition on a new petition, to get 3 selected susceptible multinational companies to make large greenhouse gas emissions cuts SOON:
The former UN climate chief, and leading scientists, have warned that have only a few years to cut emissions enough to keep temperature rise below 2°C. More and more wildfires, droughts, and floods show that we need urgent action to achieve a safe and healthy climate.

Why these 3 companies?
HSBC are still investing far too much in dirty energy, raising global temperature, thus making severe weather more frequent. Unlike some other banks, HSBC invest much less in solar or wind energy, which are now good value. In response to activist pressure, HSBC has recently improved its policies somewhat, but still has quite a long way to go.
Npower are mostly owned by RWE, Europe’s most climate-harmful electricity generator, which uses a lot of coal. You can switch to another company which uses clean energy.
Danone sells bottles made of unrecycled plastic (Evian, Volvic), and too much climate-harmful produce.
Once they shape up, we'll target other irresponsible companies. You can suggest some.
