We’re a friendly group of people working for the environment and the communities of Test Valley. We campaign for sustainable solutions to environmental issues such as climate change, fracking, air pollution, reducing plastic use, helping bees, waste, recycling, transport, housing, and nature conservation. We often work with other environmental and social action groups in Test Valley. The group covers the whole of Test Valley Borough, including Romsey and Andover.
We’ve campaigned for an end to fracking, to protect our bees, for action on single-use plastics, and to raise awareness of climate change and air pollution issues locally.
We hold quarterly meetings, run street stalls, plan awareness-raising events, contact politicians, and respond to policy consultations (such as the Local Authority Plan).
We meet about four times a year rotating between Romsey, Andover, and Stockbridge. Everyone is welcome to come to meetings and help with campaigns. If you haven't been before, we’re always keen to welcome new people coming to help out with stalls and campaigns, or simply just coming along for interest.
Please do come along - you don’t have to be a member! Lifts can be arranged from Romsey and Andover so do contact us if you’d like one.
