Southampton Friends of the Earth

Southampton Friends of the Earth take action on a range of local, national and international issues. We work with other environmental and social action groups in and around Southampton such as Green Resistance, Southampton Cycling Campaign, Friends of Marlhill Copse (linked to Eastleigh airport expansion), and Extinction Rebellion.

Our campaigns

We focus on relevant local issues. Recently we’ve been working on air pollution and are now focused on campaigning against airport expansion. We also put on events such as film screenings and attend annual events such as Southampton Seed Swap, May Fest, and Environmental Rock.

Get involved

We're always happy to welcome new people, so come along and contribute as much as you want. Campaigning takes many forms and there’s a place for everyone, whether you want to talk to members of the public and politicians, write blog posts, or help with organising behind the scenes.

Please join our mailing list by emailing [email protected] or contacting us using the box below.

See our Facebook page (link above) to find out what we've been up to recently and hope to hear from you soon!
