End corporate harms to people and planet: join the mass lobby

On Wednesday 21 October 2026, we’ll join partners from the Corporate Justice Coalition to take part in the Good Business Matters mass lobby of Parliament.

23 Jul 2026

We’ll meet with our MPs in Westminster and ask them to support a new law to hold businesses to account, as we’ve been calling for in our Planet Over Profit campaign.

Businesses are profiting from practices that are destroying our environment, threatening precious forests and wildlife and violating people’s human rights, both here in the UK and around the world, through their global supply chains.

And current UK regulation is patchy, leaving gaps where industries are being trusted to police themselves. That’s why, through our Planet Over Profit campaign, and alongside partners in the Corporate Justice Coalition, we’re calling for a new Business, Human Rights and Environment Act.

This new law would hold UK companies legally responsible for preventing harms to workers, communities and the environment in their operations and supply chains, here and around the world.

What's a mass lobby and what are we asking for?

A mass lobby is when people from across the country come together on the same day to meet their MPs and call for urgent political action.

On 21 October, our message is clear: we’re calling on MPs to support the introduction of a Business, Human Rights and Environment Act.

This comes at a crucial political moment. Public support for our campaign is growing, the government is exploring issues around responsible business practices, and other countries are already leading the way in holding companies to account.

What to expect on the day

10:30am-12:30pm: Kick-off event near Westminster: Hear from speakers, mingle with other participants, grab some lunch (provided) and get ready to meet with your MP.

12:30-1:30pm: We’ll all take a photo together near Parliament.

1:30-4pm: Lobby our MPs at the Palace of Westminster.

10:30am-4:30pm: Drop by our hub venue near Parliament to get support from staff, chat with other participants, or simply get a much-deserved cup of tea.

Never done this before? No problem!

Don’t worry if you’ve never met your MP before, we’ll send you plenty of information and guidance ahead of the day to make sure you’re prepped. And remember, your MP is there to represent you and wants to hear what matters to you.

Where to find out more and get support

Once you sign up for the lobby we’ll send you emails in the run up to the big day with all the information you need to take part and speak to your MP. You can also visit the Good Business Matters website to find more detailed plans and resources to help you get ready.

If you’ve got any other questions about the day, you can email us.

Can’t make it to London?

We need as many people as possible to attend the mass lobby of Parliament, so MPs know our campaign is too big to ignore. But we understand not everyone can easily make it to London. If it's not possible for you, don't worry, you can still get involved by asking your MP to meet you locally instead.

If you're planning to take part locally, please still sign up to the lobby, so we can send you all the resources you need to meet with your MP.
