Over 5 million households will be living in fuel poverty this year, spending over 10% of their income on energy bills. Of those, 1 million will be in extreme fuel poverty, spending over 20%. We look at who's affected and why.
We meet people living in some of the coldest neighbourhoods, areas with poorly-insulated houses where people on lower than average incomes are struggling to pay for high energy bills. Our thermal images spots of heat amongst the cold they are living in.
