Since 2013 the players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £21 million for Friends of the Earth.
From banning fracking and protecting bees to supporting local communities and getting MPs to sign our climate pledge. Their support has helped us hold government to account in court and continues to power our campaigns for a fairer and brighter future for people and planet.
Our shared history
Players of People’s Postcode Lottery has been supporting Friends of the Earth England, Wales and Northern Ireland since 2013. Friends of the Earth is awarded funding by Postcode Earth Trust, who People’s Postcode Lottery manage lotteries for.
Thanks to generous support from players of the People’s Postcode Lottery, our network of over 200 local groups is equipped with the resources and support they need to roll out effective campaigns on the issues that affect their communities. Whether that’s access to green space, clean air or warm homes for all – we're there to support them through every stage of their campaign.
Flexible funding from the Postcode Earth Trust allows us to quickly adapt to an every-changing external environment and continuously update support for our growing network.
