The UK’s Climate Change Act became the world’s first law to cut greenhouse gas emissions.

It wouldn't have happened without massive support for a Friends of the Earth campaign that hit the big time – backed by hundreds of thousands of people including many high-profile figures such as musicians Radiohead.
